GIVE TIME
The Food4Kids program needs help assembling 7,000+ packs of food a week for distribution across the state. The packs are assembled Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Kansas Food Bank Warehouse, 1919 E. Douglas, Wichita, Kan. If you or your organization is interested in volunteering, email Larry Gunkel at the Kansas Food Bank or call (316) 265-4421 x205.
SPONSOR A SCHOOL
The Kansas Food Bank is also looking for organizations big and small – whether a business, a church, a civic club, a classroom or a neighborhood association – to sponsor each of the 400 public schools that participate in the Food4Kids program across our 85 county service area. Sponsors will be asked to donate through this site to help cover the cost of feeding the hungry kids at their school.
